Lexmark Implements Cardiff's AudienceOne Web-based Sales Site to Deliver Personalized Sales Kits and Support Documents to Reps Over the Internet
Point & click Web interface creates personalized sales kits in seconds; gives global sales team immediate access to latest collateral and proposal documents
San Diego - 2000-04-10 - Lexmark International (NYSE: LXK) announced today that it has implemented the Cardiff AudienceOne Personalization Server to automatically deliver marketing and sales kits to Lexmark account executives worldwide over the Internet. The system allows Lexmark sales reps to access the latest information and to quickly and easily build customized sales kits for customers.

The new sales automation web portal allows Lexmark account executives to select specific marketing items from an online library consisting of hundreds of documents. The AudienceOne Personalization Server processes information entered by the sales person and builds a single four-color, high-quality corporate sales kit. The AudienceOne system can add the client's organization and contact name, the Lexmark account executive's information, page numbers and a table of contents directly into the newly created kit. The custom sales kit can then be previewed online and printed or emailed to the client.
Lexmark has seen a marked improvement in sales effectiveness and productivity since installing the software earlier this year and believes the company will realize significant savings in collateral printing and shipping costs.
Prior to the AudienceOne Personalization Server, the sales team wasted valuable time collating marketing information by hand - a process called ëpick & pack' in the collateral fulfillment industry. Like many organizations with a large sales team and rapidly expanding product line, Lexmark often outsourced product information kit assembly.
