Cardiff Ships The eForm Warehouse Suite for FileNET Panagon; Puts Paper Forms Online in HTML and PDF; Includes Capture Features

Saves Organizations Over $150 per form transaction by putting paper forms online; Information capture features eliminates installation hassles and artificial ëper-click' fees

San Diego - 2000-04-07 - Cardiff Software and FileNET Corporation (Nasdaq: FILE) announced today the immediate availability of the eForm Warehouse™ Suite for Panagon, an integrated solution that lets organizations put all of their paper forms online, supporting HTML, Adobe PDF and XML standards. The product also includes TELEform Information Capture, the market leading solution for turning paper forms into data for database applications, and for converting paper documents into online information.

"Cardiff has once again demonstrated why they are one of the leading FileNET developer partners," said Martyn Christian, vice president industry solutions at FileNET. "The eForm Warehouse Suite allows organizations to implement eForms that are platform and workflow independent, using standard Web browsers. This unique solution turns FileNET Panagon into a unified processing platform that converts paper and digital forms into online information."

Studies published by industry analysts, and most recently by Microsoft, show that online eForms can save organizations over $150 per form transaction when compared to paper forms. By implementing an eForm Warehouse within Panagon, organizations can eliminate printing and storage costs plus replace manual data entry with online form submissions, leading to improved operational efficiencies.

The Cardiff eForm Warehouse Suite includes everything needed to create, publish and process online forms. Using the product, organizations convert existing paper forms into online fillable forms that are hosted within FileNET Panagon. Users access blank online forms using standard Web browsers, where they can complete and submit the forms online. Completed forms are automatically stored into the Panagon content management system as a record of the transaction. Form data is also verified and cleaned based upon business rules, and then sent to database, ERP and Back Office applications. Users also have the option of printing blank forms on demand, completing the forms by hand, and then sending the paper forms into the TELEform system via scanner or fax for automated processing.

Cardiff added-value solutions for FileNET Panagon have been selected by a growing list of major organizations to automate the way they use forms and documents. FileNET Panagon customers using Cardiff eForm and Information Capture products include Bankers Trust, CoInvest, Kaiser Permanente, Mobil, Royal Union Bank, Wells Fargo, and the Australian Air Force.

Pricing & Availability

The eForm Warehouse Suite is comprised of Cardiff's market-leading eTransaction products, including TELEform Elite, HTML+Forms, PDF+Forms and the Connect Agent for Panagon. The product is available immediately for all 32-bit Microsoft Windows platforms for $20,000 per server.
