San Diego - 2000-03-07 - Cardiff Software, Inc., a leading provider of eTransaction products that drive e-business and e-commerce applications, today announced that Cardiff's AudienceOne™ Personalization Server™ has been licensed by The Mazer Corporation for use within Mazer's Interactive Publisher®. Interactive Publisher is a complete on-demand publishing system that allows users to build custom books and publications over the Internet. In related news, Mazer Interactive Publisher was awarded a coveted "Hot Pick" at the Seybold digital publishing show that was recently held in Boston.
Mazer Interactive Publisher uses Cardiff's AudienceOne Personalization Server to dynamically combine content from different authors to create custom textbooks. With Interactive Publisher, instructors can use standard online browsers to "build" instructional material that matches their curriculum needs. Instead of using an "off the shelf" textbook to teach a course, instructors are connected to a library of pre-authored content that allows them to select the ideal content and authors for each segment of the course. In this way Mazer connects authors to instructors, bypassing traditional barriers found within the book publishing industry.
