Autonomy partners with digital solutions specialist Razorfish in Germany

22 February 2000 CAMBRIDGE, England - Autonomy today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Razorfish AG, provider for strategic digital communications solutions in Germany, to sell Autonomy's technology for the automatic management of Web and corporate information into the burgeoning European market.

Autonomy's technology will enable Razorfish's clients to automatically personalise the delivery of news, enterprise information, product promotions and advertising to their customers, across a range of markets that include travel, telecommunications, avionics, consumer fashions, financial services, media and entertainment, and publishing. The personalisation of information, tailored to users' interests and needs, will enable Razorfish's clients to enhance users' brand loyalty and attract increased traffic to their sites, and, in the case of Enterprise Information Portals, to reduce the money wasted by enterprises in searching manually for decision-support information.

Razorfish have already implemented Autonomy's knowledge management technology in a new media platform for leading German online publisher Tomorrow Internet AG. The Razorfish partnership was signed through Autonomy's Frankfurt office, which opened in October. Autonomy's second German office, in Munich, will open later this month.
