By incorporating Virage's video search technology and services, these major television and Internet broadcasters help lay the foundation for the personalized broadband viewing experience, which is characterized by on-demand, interactive and user-driven content.

Yahoo! and Lifetime most recently joined Virage's broadband syndication network, a growing affiliation of over 15 Internet sites, including Snap.com, iVillage, the New York Times, Salon.com and USATODAY.com. Virage's web site integration service and Internet video infrastructure enable them to provide their visitors with uniquely-branded, on-demand access to C-SPAN's coverage of the 2000 presidential campaign.

In addition to adding video search to their own site, Chalk.com Network, whose televised coverage of technology and computer trends airs to over 25 million households in North America, will be using Virage's infrastructure to broadly syndicate their video content across targeted affiliate sites on the Internet. The partnership with Virage allows Chalk.com Network to extend their brand by providing visitors to the Chalk.com Network site with access to searchable topic segments from their library of consumer-related streaming video content.
