Telkom of South Africa Streamlines HR InformationProcessing using Cardiff TELEform
Brentford, Middlesex - 2000-01-01 - Cardiff Software, the leaders in data and document capture software, has announced that Telkom, South Africa's largest telephone company, has implemented Cardiff's TELEform® software to automate Telkom's extensive human resource document and data capture needs for its 42,000 employees.
Ethniks Systems, an authorised Cardiff Software value added reseller, designed and implemented the TELEform system with the assistance of Prisma Solutions, Cardiff's Regional Distributor for southern Africa.
Telkom processes approximately 112 different types of forms for its 42,000 employees, including leave forms, time sheets, part-time contractor forms and other human resources documents.TELEform speeds form processing and provides accurate, up-to-the-minute information on employee status. TELEform also eases data collection by converting paper-based forms into full-featured Web forms that automate Internet/Intranet data collection.
"Ethniks Systems has made it possible for Telkom to maximise staff productivity. With TELEform, only six of the 82 staff members are needed to process all the Telkom forms," said Kevin Greig, marketing director for Ethniks Systems. "This means that the remaining 76 employees can get on with much more important human resources matters without wasting precious time processing forms."
