Autonomy Corporation plc debuts on EASDAQ

July 10, 1998 - Autonomy Corporation plc begins trading today on EASDAQ following an Initial Public Offering of shares. This is a leading European technology company operating in the area of knowledge management. Paribas was bookrunning lead manager and BT Alex.

Brown was joint lead manager in the IPO which raised approximately $54 million, of which $36 million is new money raised by the Company. Institutional demand for the shares far exceeded supply, and the offering was over 7 times subscribed. Strong demand came particularly from the UK, Continental Europe and from US investors.
