An Autonomy Review of 2007

2007 was another outstanding year for Autonomy by every measure, with record results driven by strong organic growth, and the ZANTAZ acquisition. Autonomy performed ahead of analyst consensus expectations, driven by the fundamental shift in the IT world towards the usage of unstructured information, and the secondary drivers of regulatory changes such as the US Federal Rules of Civil Procedure resulting in a convergence of legal and operational information systems. Throughout 2007 we consolidated our industry leadership position, and finished the year as the undisputed leader in pan-enterprise search and meaning based computing.
