![]() | Robert Youngjohns SVP and GM, Autonomy/IM Business
|
Robert Youngjohns serves as senior vice president and general manager of the Autonomy/Information Management business unit, within HP Software. In this role, he is responsible for driving the "meaning-based computing" mission to enable companies to analyze and draw business value from unstructured information. Known for being a technology evangelist, Youngjohns has more than 30 years of sales, marketing, strategic business development and general management experience in the technology industry. He joins HP from Microsoft where he was most recently president of Microsoft North America. Before he joined Microsoft, Youngjohns was president and CEO of Callidus Software, a $120 million public company, where he initiated the company's transition from traditional enterprise software to SaaS (Software as a Service). Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Sun Microsystems, where he had a variety of leadership positions in sales and general management both regionally and globally. Youngjohns also had a successful 18-year career at IBM, holding key leadership roles from deep technology specialization to general management. Youngjohns holds a master's degree with honors in Physics and Philosophy from Oriel College, Oxford University. He will be based in Sunnyvale, California at the Moffett Towers.

Joel Scott joined Autonomy in 2005. Mr. Scott is COO-US, with responsibility for operations across the entire North American region. Previously, Mr. Scott served as General Counsel for the Autonomy group's US entities. Prior to joining Autonomy, Mr. Scott served as Director of Legal Affairs at Brocade Communications Systems, a leading provider of data center networking solutions and services, and held senior positions at several Silicon Valley startups. Mr. Scott began his distinguished career at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, one of the world's most prestigious law firms. Mr. Scott has a BA, Joint Honours, in English and Philosophy from McGill University, and holds a Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School.

Donald Avant joined Autonomy in 2011 and serves as the Group Head of Operations. In this role, Don has worldwide responsibility for the post-sales functions at Autonomy, including Professional Services, Technical Support, Operational Hosting and Customer Programmes. Prior to joining Autonomy, Don held various leadership positions in internal operations at Ernst & Young Global, including senior roles in the Global IT and Global Business Services divisions. Prior to Ernst & Young, Don worked for Arthur Andersen and the Bechtel Corporation in assorted service delivery and client facing roles. Don holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Eloy Avila joined Autonomy in January of 2004 and has been a part of the technology team since, most recently holding the role of US CTO. Prior to joining Autonomy, Mr. Avila did research and worked on building ultra-efficient electric vehicles. Mr. Avila holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, CA.

Ian Black joined Autonomy in June 2000 as Director of Corporate Communications and has served as Managing Director Aungate since 2003. Prior to joining Autonomy Ian operated a number of his own businesses providing communications consultancy to a distinguished list of multi-nationals and European government agencies. After joining British Aerospace - latterly BAE SYSTEMS - in 1989 and as Head of Corporate Communications, Ian achieved a string of world 'firsts' including deployment of the world's first live business television system which was itself a forerunner of another world first: a global automated Intranet. Throughout the 90's Ian's work earned over a dozen awards as part of BAE's top-120 group driving cultural change throughout the company. He also founded and participated in a number of external I.T networks and organizations such as the DTI's CSSA National E-Commerce Committee. Ian studied Physiology at Henley Management College and Business Administration at Filton College Bristol.

Fernando Lucini joined Autonomy in 2000 and serves as Chief Architect. To this role, he brings years of experience in enterprise-level software applications. Prior to joining Autonomy, Mr Lucini was Solutions Manager for LeadingSide Inc, responsible for determining solutions strategy across the enterprise. Mr Lucini holds a BEng Hons in Communications and Electronic Engineering from the University of Kent, and an MBA from IE Business School.

Don Leeke is vice president of global sales and operations for the Autonomy/Information Management business unit, within HP Software. Reporting directly to Robert Youngjohns, Leeke is responsible for customer engagement and satisfaction, the global sales team, and operational excellence. With nearly 20 years of enterprise sales and management experience, he brings a passion for his employees, customers, and enterprise technology.
Prior to HP, Leeke held senior leadership roles within Nokia and Microsoft. At Microsoft, he was VP and enterprise product group lead for Microsoft Canada, responsible for leading a 166-person sales and technical organization and over $1B in revenue within the enterprise, public sector, and midmarket segments.
Prior to Microsoft, Leeke held several positions during his 8-year career with HP, as Great Lakes Area manager, where he managed a $190 million dollar annual business focused on HP hardware and software solutions. Leeke holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor's degree from Franklin College.

Rohit de Souza currently serves of vice president and general manager of HP Software's Power/IDOL group - the Intelligent Data Operating Layer and Information Management Platform that is the heart of the Autonomy value proposition. In this role, he is responsible for the business worldwide.
Prior to this role, he served as the vice president and general manager of HP's Retail Publishing Solutions within the Inkjet & Web Solutions Business. Here, he led a team that was responsible for hardware, software and web services development, deployment, operations, sales, and support of publishing solutions for HP's retail customers worldwide.
De Souza joined HP in 2008 and brings nearly 25 years of blue chip, strategic technology and change management experience to the role, having driven results at both large enterprise technology companies and smaller, early stage ventures in a global context. Prior to joining HP, de Souza served as chief executive of a private equity backed venture to assemble and operate a global engineering services company. He also held senior management roles at Thrasys (a joint venture with Siemens), Siebel Systems and SAP A.G., and was responsible for business-to-business exchanges and expanding the global applications business at Oracle corporation.
De Souza also spent eight years at Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc., a strategic management consulting firm, providing operations strategy and transformation management consulting to global clients. He began his career at Intel Corporation and spent six years in a series of strategic planning and controller positions in the Components Technology and Manufacturing Group.
De Souza holds dual Masters degrees in engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an undergraduate degree in engineering from Madras University in India.

David Jones is general manager of Data Protection at Autonomy, an HP Company. In this role, he is responsible for defining the business vision, direction, and goals as well as driving the sales, marketing, service delivery, and development organizations working to exceed business objectives. Jones joined Autonomy through its acquisition of Iron Mountain Digital, where he was executive vice president of digital services and responsible for managing product management, development, service delivery, support, and business operations for the digital services portfolio including archiving, eDiscovery, and data protection.
Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Jones served as managing partner with Velocity Partners where he focused on helping data center software companies expand into new market segments and driving strategic partnerships. Previously, he served as president and CEO for three enterprise software businesses including Njini, Inc., Network Physics, and Ambrent, and has held executive management positions at Cisco Systems, NETSYS technologies, and Quantum Corporation. Jones holds an MBA from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.

As CEO of Autonomy Promote, Meaning Based Marketing, Rafiq is transforming Marketing with next-generation solutions that enable businesses to understand and act on all forms of customer information. We call this new unique Autonomy approach, Meaning Based Marketing.
Rafiq has more than 15 years of experience in the content management space and he is highly respected in the industry. Rafiq served as Group CTO of Autonomy, after the completion of Autonomy's acquisition of Interwoven. He co-founded iManage, Inc. in 1995. Rafiq also played the role of CTO at iManage, where he was a key member of the team that successfully built the company from a start-up to a profitable and growing publicly traded software company that went IPO within four years. After the Interwoven's acquisition of iManage in 2004, Rafiq was CTO of Interwoven for four years, where he helped the company to establish its dominant market leadership in both Web Content Management and Document Management. As an entrepreneur, Rafiq has enjoyed contributing to both technology and business.
Rafiq holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Neil Araujo is General Manger, managing Autonomy's enterprise content management portfolio. Neil was one of the original founders of iManage Inc. At iManage he was a key member of the team that successfully build the company from a start-up to a profitable and growing publicly traded software company that went IPO with four years, before the company was acquired by Interwoven in 2004. At Interwoven, Neil played a key role in driving the strategy and in growing the professional services division's market share in the legal market from 40 percent to 75 percent. In addition, he played an instrumental role in expanding the business into new adjacent vertical markets and geographies, resulting in the division's revenue doubling within three years.
Neil has a MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

As CEO of Autonomy Protect, Enterprise Markets, Mike manages all aspects of operations including global infrastructure, data centers, customer and technical support, professional services, and electronic discovery operations. Mike is actively engaged with customers and solution development.
Mike founded Steelpoint Technologies in 1993 and served as CEO and President until the company was acquired by ZANTAZ in August of 2004. Under his leadership, Steelpoint achieved outstanding revenue and profit growth and was recognized as one of the fastest growing software companies in the US. Mike was recognized twice by Ernst & Young as an Entrepreneur of the Year and is credited with helping Steelpoint, and later ZANTAZ, establish a dominant market position as a provider of solutions for Electronic Discovery, Litigation Support and Digital Archiving in a hosted model.
Mike began his career as a software developer with Raytheon Company and went on to hold management positions at technology consulting companies focused on content management technologies. Mike is a graduate of Bentley College with degrees in Computer Information Systems and Business Management. He is also an accomplished pianist.

As CEO of Autonomy Promote, Multichannel Technology, Andrew leads the businesses specializing in advanced technologies for organizations seeking to organize, understand and optimize on multichannel customer interactions across the web, contact center, social media and more. In this role, Andrew is a primary advocate for the Chief Customer Officer and every organization's desire to compile a complete and meaningful picture of their customer interactions.
Prior to joining Autonomy through the ZANTAZ acquisition in 2007, Andrew served as a CEO and President of Singlecast Technologies Inc., an early pioneer of information classification, real-time policy management and compliance & legal technologies, which he founded. From 1996 to 2002 Mr. Joiner served as an investment banker with Citigroup in New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School.

Bryan Rellinger is the Head of Global Professional Services for Autonomy, responsible for managing and directing all aspects of the professional services team worldwide. Bryan has over 13 years of consulting experience both building and managing professional services teams in various organizational stages.
Previously, Bryan was Vice President of Professional Services at Verity, Inc where he helped set direction and execution strategy before and during the Verity acquisition by Autonomy. Prior to that Bryan was the Director of Professional Services for Cardiff Software where he helped grow and lead Cardiff's Professional Services team worldwide. Bryan began his career spending 5 years as a trusted business advisor with Arthur Andersen as part of the Business Consulting Practice. Bryan graduated with honors while earning both a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University.
