Autonomy technology delivers unique capabilities that set us apart from the competition. We allow computers to harness the full richness of human information, forming a conceptual and contextual understanding of structured data, and unstructured data that exists in the form of texts, email, web pages, audio, and video. 86 of the Fortune 100
10 of the top 10 financial institutions

Past interns have helped produce important new products that are in use today. For many applicants, an internship with Autonomy marks the beginning of a rewarding journey within the Autonomy family.

UK Internships: Cambridge

Our popular summer development internship placements last between 8 and 12 weeks, with positions based in Cambridge. Successful candidates will work alongside members of our research and development team, developing new algorithms and products. During your time with us, you can accumulate a variety of technical skills and see how an international software company functions.

Requirements – To qualify for an internship at Autonomy, you should be in your last year of undergraduate studies in a technical or scientific field, and have the ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience programming in a Windows or UNIX environment, or a basic knowledge of C or Java, is an advantage, but is not required.

Belfast Internships

Each academic year, Autonomy offers unique internship opportunities to work as a Software Developer or Quality Assurance Engineer at our Belfast engineering center. This program provides an ideal on-ramp to be considered for future employment.

Requirements – To qualify for the Belfast internship program, you should have an excellent academic record from your first two years of undergraduate study. As a Software Developer, your experience should include C#, .NET, C++, ASPX, SharePoint, and XML. As a QA Engineer, you will gain experience delivering product releases on time, within budget, and according to defined quality standards. The role requires a great attention to detail, and working with set standards in a structured, output focused way.
