Autonomy Completes Acquisition of Records Management Vendor Meridio

On Friday, November 9th, Autonomy announced that it had acquired Meridio, a leading worldwide provider of enterprise Records Management (RM) software. This privately held organization has more than 200 customers and more than one million licensed users of its award-winning Records Management solution.

Meridio Logo The addition of Meridio's products to Autonomy's suite of consolidated archiving, eDiscovery, analytics and real-time policy management offerings completes the spectrum of offerings necessary for Information Risk Management. Unlike many storage management vendors, Autonomy and Meridio have a shared vision that data should not have to move from one system to another. If you have the information in the enterprise search engine, you have it there for records management, archiving and e-discovery.

Records Management is now an essential aspect of a complete enterprise information risk management strategy. Autonomy is the only vendor with the vision and technology to deliver a full spectrum of capabilities on a single unified platform.
Customers will benefit from the integration of Meridio's RM solutions with Autonomy ZANTAZ solutions which span consolidated archiving, eDiscovery, analytics and Real-Time policy management addressing enterprises' operational and archived information management.
The expanded internal expertise, global and financial resources provide additional vendor security and benefits for Meridio customers. Autonomy is committed to advancing and supporting all of Meridio's products and looks forward to working with Meridio's customers and partners.
