WorkSite

WorkSite is Autonomy iManage's flagship product for document and email management. The well-regarded usability and reliability of WorkSite is now augmented by the power of the Autonomy IDOL search engine.

As previously communicated, Autonomy iManage is looking forward to the upcoming release of WorkSite 8.5. WorkSite 8.5 addresses three critical areas for professional services firms:

1. E-Mail Management: New and innovative approaches which make email filing easier, faster and more usable.
2. Offline Working: Enhanced ability to quickly and transparently synchronize selected content to a laptop and have rich document and email management functionality on the road.
3. Improved Performance: Up to 5x improved performance across the WAN for common document operations.

In Q2 2009, Autonomy will announce its plans for WorkSite 9, which will deliver exciting new capabilities based on a combination of Interwoven and Autonomy technologies.

iManage Universal Search for Law Firms

Universal Search is an IDOL-based enterprise search product for law firms. This product uses the rich capabilities of IDOL and is configured out-of-the-box for the legal use case. Named IDOL Universal Search (IUS) 7.0, this release includes the following features, which incorporate some additional functionality and improvements over the previous version:

Additionally, with the IUS 7.0 release, customers will be able to leverage their investment in Autonomy to provide new advanced capabilities for their user base via add-ons for classification and taxonomy management, expertise location and user profiling, advanced analytics and visualization and rich media (audio/video) support.

iManage Records Manager

iManage Records Manager, the platform for records management for legal and professional services firms, will also use IDOL as its search engine. Firms will now have the advantage of a single search platform for content in both WorkSite and Records Manager.

Coming later this year, Records Manager 6.0 will have a sophisticated manage-in-place integration model with WorkSite. As a result of the features in Records Manager 6.0, firms will be able to automate and significantly simplify the enforcement of records policy on any content residing in WorkSite.

In Q2 2009, Autonomy will announce further enhancements to Records Manager, which will deliver expanded capabilities for information and process governance based on a combination of Interwoven and Autonomy technologies.

Current Discovery Mining customers will benefit as Autonomy combines the best aspects of the current Introspect hosted EDD offering with Discovery Mining. Discovery Mining will become Autonomy's West Coast eDiscovery processing center.
